Behind the Lens: Anniversary x Reverse Genesis Photoshoot with Local Creators Melvin & Mario

The energy was different for this one. To celebrate the journey and evolution of ActCool, we dropped two powerful collections — The Anniversary Collection and Reverse Genesis — and brought together some of the most creative minds in our community to help us bring it to life.

Enter Melvin, a local entrepreneur, visionary editor, and longtime supporter of the brand. As our lead shooter and editor for this project, Melvin didn’t just snap photos — he told a story through every frame. His lens captured the essence of what ActCool stands for: confidence, raw individuality, and the power of rebirth. His editing gave the visuals a cinematic feel that perfectly matches the Reverse Genesis vibe — a spiritual restart, a new version of you.

We were also lucky to team up with Mario, a rising content streamer from the area whose online presence and genuine energy gave this shoot the personality boost it needed. Mario’s presence in front of the camera helped reflect the mission of the brand — to support mental health, fight anxiety and depression, and give people the confidence to live authentically.

The Anniversary Collection celebrates how far we’ve come, while Reverse Genesis represents where we’re going — and we couldn’t have asked for better collaborators to capture that duality. Every shot taken is a testament to the strength of community, creativity, and cause.
